Still a Sick Chicken

Before you think that you never have to change your car oil in America, you might want to change your mind. We had to change our oil after 4 weeks of driving, and we were kind of flabbergasted. There is not much "civilization" around Boise, so we decided that we might as well change the oil. We called up the company that we rented the car from, and they told us that they were located in the Sayrvyew Avenue in Boise (according to mom). After trying to find this road for an hour, we decided to go to a Starbucks corner to get WiFi. Eventually I found out that mom actually heard Fairview avenue, and not Sayrvyew avenue. I laughed about it, but as a farmer with dental pain (hoho funny me).

Once arrived, the man told us that it would take an hour for the oil to be changed. So wen went out for a walk and some extra breakfast. We also saw some real cowboy shops on our walk, they sold shoes with snake heads on them. After eating and walking we went back on the road towards Baker City, which wasn't really far via the interstate. I felt kind of sick, so we decided not to go further. We looked for a hotel to stay in, and we found the Geiser Hotel. Its a very old hotel, but renovated to look like the original 1800 style. It was beautiful, but over $100 and we are on a budget. So no. No Geiser. We looked around and the Baker City Inn looked good. But we wanted to see a little bit more. In one of the motels mom saw a dead mouse on the ground, and the owner said that they needed an exterminator. So yeah, kind of gross. We also don't want any rooms where dogs have stayed, so that was also an obstacle.

After a while we decided to go back to the Baker City Inn and booked a room. It was around $70 and it was okay enough for us. After laying on bed we ate something at the Golden Crown, since we wanted Japanese food and I read on Google that the Golden Crown was a Japanese place. We went there to find out they used the menu and photos of another restaurant, located somewhere else, in a different city. We ate some fried udon noodles and went back to the hotel since I didn't feel fit enough to go somewhere else. And then we slept. I slept amazing that night without a phone, since the outlets were too old for my electrical plug.
